LAURA M. FABAR-EQUELS joined the Equels Law Firm in May 2010 as a Director in its Miami office. Her practice areas include family, civil litigation, and personal injury law. Ms. Fabar-Equels is admitted to practice before the Florida Bar, the U.S. District Court of Florida for the Southern District and the U.S Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit. She is a member of the American Bar Association and Family Law Section of the Florida Bar. She is also a member of the Dade County Bar Association and the Cuban American Bar Association. She received her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 1986 and her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami in 1976.
